We reached out to Sd Paint and Construction via a call to explore what renovation services they could offer beyond just painting. The call was answered promptly, and then the staff explained their scope.
Right from the start, the staff were approachable and didn’t rush conversation. They even listed a variety of services, from repainting interiors and exteriors to more extensive renovations involving minor structural and carpentry works.
Also, the team shared recommendations based on your house layout and asked about lighting and wall finishes to suggest complementary colours and materials.
What we noticed during the inquiry was that they seem a bit more focused on painting projects than full-scale renovation work. They clarified that while they offer good renovation, the bulk of their past jobs have been related to painting and surface restoration.
They might not be ideal if you’re looking for a contractor for major rebuilds or kitchen overhauls, though they still be able to refer you.

The representative was warm and very professional in breaking down their process—from initial site visit, design planning, material sourcing, all the way to completion.
They offer full-service interior design and renovation, which includes 3D visuals, budgeting, and project management. What impressed us most was how they don’t just pitch—they listen.
The team was very thorough as they asked about the layout, budget, and design preferences before even mentioning packages or pricing.
On the call, they also flexed their recognitions, including the Reika International Design Award in both 2018 and 2019.

Our trip to Top Paragon Renovation’s office was very fruitful because we learned so many things about their operations. Right from the entrance, you can tell the team is structured.
They have a clean showroom setup that walks you through previous projects, including tile installations, kitchen builds, and electrical fittings. The person we met gave us an overview of their process—from site evaluation to material selection, all the way to post-project inspections.
With more than 1,250 completed projects and a crew of over 85 professionals, they clearly have the manpower and experience to take on large-scale renovations. Their core team is friendly and easy to talk to, and they didn’t shy away from questions about timelines or budget structures.
What’s lacking, though, is the speed of their online support. We had messaged them prior to the visit, and it took a while before someone replied. If you’re the king who prefers to sort things before committing to an appointment, this might test your patience.

NextGent Ventures is another firm that we contacted. Led by Mr. Blue Boy, the team walked us through the types of work they do, which range from basic refurbishments to full-on construction projects.
Their portfolio includes both residential and commercial builds, and according to what we learned, they’ve been active in the industry for over 15 years with more than 102 satisfied projects under their belt.
You’ll likely appreciate how hands-on their approach is—they assign dedicated contractors to manage each project, and their office is responsive even outside peak hours.
That said, their website doesn’t really reflect the same level of professionalism. Their layout and navigation could use a serious refresh as it lacks visual appeal, has clunky menus, and the texts are all over the screen.
If this is your first point of contact or research, it might give you the wrong impression. But once you get in touch, the team was approachable, knowledgeable, and clear a bout pricing and timelines.
