Bunglow37 is a hidden gem in Bangsar that instantly impressed us with its charming bungalow setting and relaxing skyline view. The space feels intimate yet refined, making it suitable for date nights, celebrations, or even small private events.
We appreciate the alfresco dining area, which offers a calm atmosphere away from the usual busy restaurant scene.
During our visit, the chilli beef appetiser stood out with bold flavour, while the sirloin and salmon mains were satisfying and well-balanced. The tapas selection, especially the crispy chicken wings, was also memorable.
We found the menu approachable, combining Western and Asian influences without overcomplicating the dishes. Pricing felt reasonable considering the ambiance, service quality, and portion sizes.
Service was attentive and accommodating, especially for special arrangements such as customised cakes or private dining rooms. Just a heads up: there’s a required booking fee of RM200 to secure reservations that can secure availability for planned occasions.

“Celebrated my dad’s birthday at Bunglow37 in the Topaz Room. The room was stunning and perfect for our group of 8 (6 adults, 2 kids). The supervisor, Mr T.C, was fantastic—attentive, explained the menu clearly, and was amazing with the kids. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, the service, the setting, and the quality of the food all combined to make a special night. My dad felt honoured, we all felt relaxed, and it’s a memory we’ll treasure. I highly recommend Bunglow37 for anyone looking to celebrate an important occasion with family.

We were served by a male server— Mr. Shahrul or Shahril (forgive me if I got the name wrong 😅, who provided exceptional service and even helped us take couple photos. The food was top-notch and the signature birthday cake I requested was a lovely touch. With the stunning KLCC Twin Towers view and a dim, romantic ambience, we had a truly memorable time. For the drinks, the lavender latte and lavender lemonade added a creative touch, offering something different from typical cafe beverages.
One thing we noticed is that the reception service was slightly less attentive. Lucky us because the dining staff were warm and helpful once seated. They even reminded us that they also accommodate special arrangements for personalised celebrations!

What we really love about this spot is their halal-certified menu, making it accessible to a wider crowd. We also appreciated how the dishes highlight familiar Western comfort food with a local touch.
We highly recommend their sirloin steak, which was very tender and juicy when served. It can be paired nicely with creamy mashed potatoes and vegetables.
Their spaghetti carbonara was rich without feeling heavy, while the homemade wedges were crisp and satisfying.
However, we noticed that the service could slow down during busy periods, likely due to higher demand. Nonetheless, their staff remained courteous and accommodating throughout our visit.

“Great food though it’s offerings are geared to a western palate. The numerous teas were good. The mushroom soup was homemade and seasoned well. The garlic bread served with it is sadly better than what i typically get in the US. The fish and chips were good, crisp and used cod filets. Would have preferred a single large piece, but that’s just nitpicking. The spaghetti beef bolognese was great. The scones were pillowy soft though not as warm as I’d like. Everything was reasonable priced e kept I think the soup was just a touch expensive, but it is home made compared to other places. Service was great and very fast”
