1. Urban Retreat KL East Mall

Website:https://www.urbanretreatspa.my/
Address: Level G2-30, 823 Jln Lingkaran Tengah 2, KL Timur
Contact: +60123488139
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM
A romantic anniversary treat or a family outing usually means splitting up at the spa door, which is why Urban Retreat KL East Mall stands out.
Operating since 2006 with award-winning treatments, they offer connected rooms with couple tubs for aroma baths and side-by-side tubs at The Curve. They even have massages for kids 150 cm tall or under!
Meanwhile, adult guests aged 18 and above get access to gender-segregated onsen facilities with individual tubs, meaning you get a private soak without feeling exposed.
If you’re an urban professional carrying a heavy week in your back, their deep tissue massage and lymphatic detox massage pair well with a hair cream bath.
The catch is that walk-in slots depend on availability. And with multiple branches, you might book the wrong outlet by mistake.

The place is so beautiful
The place is so beautiful. Had Dewita as my masseuse and she was amazing! She was incredibly meticulous, careful, and attentive throughout the session. She gave me some really valuable advice and recommendations on the best services for my needs right now. I will definitely be back to look for her again soon. They also served warm water/ginger tea afterwards. Terimakasih kak! 🙂

I look forward to coming back again
I come here often. This time, on 12 June around 2:00 PM, I attended a 2-hour aromatherapy massage session with miss Cahaya. Everything was excellent, from the treatment itself to the overall experience. Cahaya was professional, attentive, and made me feel very comfortable throughout the session.
I would also like to compliment the staff at the front desk. They were friendly, welcoming, and provided great customer service. Overall, it was another wonderful experience, and I look forward to coming back again.

2. Nest Retreat Malaysia

Website: https://www.fresha.com/
Address: Conezion Commercial, Persiaran IRC 3, A-03-2, IOI Resort, Putrajaya
Contact: +60162881895
Hours: Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
For women who want to fully let their guard down without wondering who’s in the next room, Nest Retreat Malaysia runs a women-only sanctuary in Putrajaya.
That single-gender setup removes the awkwardness of stripping down for a Korean body scrub or prenatal massage.
Their menu leans heavily into scalp and beauty care, pairing the Japanese-inspired Tansan Zen Headspa and Aromatique Healing Ritual with facials, manicures, and Korean lash lifts.
Even better, the therapists check in on your comfort and adjust their pressure throughout the treatment in clean, aromatherapy-scented rooms.
However, the women-only policy rules out couples bookings with a male partner.
Additionally, the doors stay shut every Tuesday.

Treated my mum to a spa date here for her birthday and we had the best experience
Treated my mum to a spa date here for her birthday and we had the best experience! The entire session was fantastic from start to finish.
I booked the aromatique full body and facial lifting massage for my mum with Camelia, who did an incredible job. She was so thoughtful, attentive to her specific needs and accommodating throughout. I went with the detox and sculpt full body massage with Rose. She was so amazing, her pressure was super strong, and it was hands-down the best massage I’ve ever had!

Had such a nice spa experience at Nest Retreat this morning!✨ My therapist, Ms Rose, was really good at massage and she made me feel so relaxed throughout the whole session. I also loved how friendly and warm she was from the moment she greeted me. She made me feel very comfortable and welcomed.

3. Premier MIMONE Spa Bangsar X Luma Social Wellness Club

Website: https://mimone.com/
Address: 32, Lorong Maarof, Bangsar
Contact: +60166739153
Hours: Monday, Wednesday to Sunday, 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM
Standard relaxation rubs don’t always cut it for stubborn bloating or postpartum recovery, which is where Premier MIMONE Spa Bangsar X Luma Social Wellness Club steps in.
They focus on maternity wellness and body-contouring alongside specialised recovery care. This includes prenatal and postnatal treatments, lymphatic breast massage, and even child-growing-pain massage.
Health-conscious guests who normally look into holistic options like naturopaths will also like their TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) Fu Yang Guan therapy.
It uses medium-to-hard pressure to warm the body and boost circulation, which helps reduce stiffness and water retention. This is especially great when paired with their infrared sauna or Japan hydrogen healing spa.
That said, traditional massage fans will notice that Swedish and Thai styles aren’t on the menu.
To add, gift cards can’t be returned once purchased.

If we were in KL longer, we’d come back every day
We came here because it was just the closest spa to us, and were delighted to find a clean, calm, cool space. The masseuses were amazing, and the whole experience was well worth it. We both had the 60 min foot and head and shoulders, and it was wonderful. If we were in KL longer we’d come back every day – highly recommend.

4. Uroot Spa Arcoris Mont Kiara

Website:https://urootspa.com/
Address: LG1-5, Lower Ground 1, Arcoris 10 Jalan Kiara, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur
Contact: +60 17-881 3990
Hours: Monday to Sunday, 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM
International tourists and local professionals often want a treatment rooted in local heritage rather than a generic hotel rubdown. Luckily, that’s exactly the niche Uroot Spa Arcoris Mont Kiara fills.
They specialise in Urutan Malaysia, a signature therapy that combines Malay Urut, Chinese Tui Na, Indian head massage, and Sabahan deep tissue work into one session.
Instead of making you choose between deep pressure and acupressure, this four-part technique tackles tight muscles and mental fatigue.
Our colleague booked a session here after a brutal month at work and loved how the ancestral aromatic herbs, spices, and healing music made the room feel grounded, not clinical.
On the flip side, getting to their Kuala Lumpur location can mean sitting in heavy traffic.
And since they’re popular, slots fill up quickly, so book ahead to lock in your preferred date and therapist.

Khareyana Spa includes an indoor, Balinese-inspired shower in every treatment room, so you won’t have to pad down a shared hallway in a paper robe just to rinse off oil.
Their menu centres on Balinese massage techniques designed to help you slow down and reconnect without ever leaving your private space.
For a long-weekend reset, their Dreamy Seroja and Kemboja Luxe packages run 90 to 120 minutes of Balinese massage, starting with a bespoke herbal foot spa and ending with artisan ginger tea.

It might just be my favourite spa out of all those I’ve visited
Khareyana Spa HEALED me 😭 It might just be my favourite spa out of all those I’ve visited. The ambience was just divine!
I loved that they didn’t play background music and I was lulled to sleep by the white noise of the pond water rushing.
My masseuse was soooo skillful – I asked her to use slightly firmer pressure and she absolutely nailed it. She also felt some knots in my neck and targeted them. Felt so rejuvenated after the session.

Overall, a very relaxing experience and I loved it so much 🍃🕊️
I absolutely loved the ambience of this spa. It’s incredibly pretty, filled with greenery and flowers, and the sound of water adds such a soothing touch. The whole experience made me feel calm and connected to nature.
The massage was amazing too. I have a low pain tolerance and mentioned it to the masseur, and she was very attentive, gentle yet still effective in relieving my tension. Overall, a very relaxing experience and I loved it so much 🍃🕊️
