1. D Sayang Ku (D Loving Children Day Care Centre)

Address: 93, Jalan Manisan, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling
Phone: +60163319062
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 7:30 AM to 7 PM
D Sayang Ku, or famously known as D Loving, immediately stood out the moment we stepped in with our friend’s little one—the warm environment, the cheerful teachers, and the way kids naturally gravitated toward the play areas made it clear this place has something special.
After spending some time observing and trying their services, it was easy to see why parents speak highly of them. Their team has been running since 2005, and that experience shows in how they manage routines, guide learning, and support emotional development.
The teachers communicated well with us, checked in regularly, and handled every question with patience. Their activities aren’t just worksheets and basic play; they include moral lessons, creative exploration, and small outings that give kids something to look forward to.
Furthermore, we noticed how quickly children settled into the environment. The transition support was genuinely helpful, and even shy kids gradually opened up.
That said, the centre’s website could use a revamp because its design feels old and basic, which doesn’t reflect the quality of care you get in person.
We love them
“Today is the last day in 2024 ~ and i would like to thank Teacher Jane, Teacher Dason, Teacher Poh, Teacher Yvonne, Teacher Munis and all the teachers in DLoving. No regret to put my girl here, i knw she really enjoy alot with her teachers and friends. Thankful that I’ve made a good decision to send her to DLoving. There are always different kind of fun activities ~ birthday celebration, baking day, outdoor day, army training day, animal jungle party, shopping day, Christmas party and last on the concert cum graduation day. All these activities c/w alot of effort from the teachers, not easy but they did it and bring alot of joyful moments to the kids. Thanks for making learning fun and helping my girl to grow well. Once again ~ thank you DLoving , thank you teachers! With love from Eu Wynne & Parents.”

Teachers are highly dedicated
“Both my kids attended this school. All teachers are highly dedicated under the leadership of the principal, Teacher Jane. My kids enjoyed the school so much with all the creative activities organized by the teachers such as holiday/festival events, sports day, family outings, birthday parties and graduation concert! This school gave me the feeling that it is not all about making profit as the price is considered reasonable with all the care and teachings provided. Highly recommended kindie + day care services!”

2. Little Creche The Earth Bukit Jalil Preschool and Childcare Centre

Phone: +60176092935
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 7:45 AM to 6:30 PM
- Saturday – 9 AM to 1 PM
Little Creche was upfront about being on the pricier side, and that’s something you’ll want to factor in before making a decision.
But once the team walked us through the centre and explained their programme, it became clear why many parents still choose them despite the higher cost. The moment we stepped inside, the environment felt warm, organised, and surprisingly well-utilised for a sho-lot setup.
The staff took time to explain how they structure both early childhood lessons and primary school care for SJKC students. Every explanation came with examples of actual daily routines.
Their communication style stood out too! They were quick to answer questions, transparent about expectations, and very attentive to parents’ concerns.
Moreover, the feedback from families we spoke to was consistently positive. Parents mentioned noticeable improvements in academics, social behaviour, and confidence after enrolling their children here.
The teachers appear patient, cheerful, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and development. Activities are thoughtfully curated, especially the weekly water play and messy play sessions that kids look forward to.
They provide excellent care and just the right balance of academic guidance
“A wonderful pre-school that provides excellent care and the right balance of academic guidance and overall development. The teachers are warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to helping children grow with confidence. We’re very happy with the nurturing environment and the positive progress we’ve seen in our child.”

3. Little Playhouse Preschool and Childcare Centre

Address: Level 4, Menara Shell, 211, Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Kuala Lumpur Sentral
Phone: +60102631337
Business Hours:
- Monday to Sunday – 8 AM to 6 PM
Our tour of Little Playhouse gave us a surprisingly good impression, especially with how thoughtfully the space is laid out for young children. Even though it’s located inside Menara Shell, the centre doesn’t feel cramped at all.
The high ceilings, wide windows, and fully equipped indoor playground create a bright, comfortable atmosphere. The staff were approachable during the inquiry, walking us through their routines, safety practices, and how they integrate play into learning.
As we spoke with parents, a clear pattern emerged—many noticed positive changes in their kids’ communication, social confidence, and overall readiness for school. The teachers seem genuinely invested in the children’s growth, offering patient guidance.
The only drawback is the lack of outdoor activities. Other parents suggested adding at least a weekly outdoor session to give kids a chance to play and explore beyond the indoor setup.

4. Taska Precious Steps Montessori Preschool and Childcare Center

Address: 33, Lorong Abang Haji Openg 3, Taman Tun Dr Ismail
Phone: +60377333903
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 8 AM to 6:30 PM
Taska Precious Steps Montessori is very notable. Their team explained their Montessori approach very well, and the environment reflected that philosophy clearly—everything was organised, purposeful, and designed to help children build independence.
Their long-running presence in TTDI since 2009 also gave parents we spoke to a sense of reliability, especially for children who need patient guidance or gradual transitions. Families consistently described the school as warm, structured, and genuinely attentive.
That said, several parents did mention that their programme is pricier compared to other schools. If you’re working within a modest budget, this might be something you’ll want to weigh carefully before deciding.
Even so, many parents felt the outcome justified the investment. They shared stories of noticeable academic growth, stronger confidence, and better emotional resilience in their children.
Teachers here are very passionate
“Love the school so much, love it! The founders and teachers give their pure passion towards educating the children the best way they could! My daughter has been enjoying so much! Keep it up! Gonna send my son over too!! Hahaha!”

It’s really fun to learn with them
“Wonderful environment for children’s learning. Noted with my granddaughter 4yrs old, her progress in reading and comprehension in both English and Mandarin. Her social interactions in meeting and making new friends via the classroom and the school activities. Photo showed a learning and fun trip to the local firestation.”

5. Caterpillar Playtime Playschool

Address: 66-1, BLOCK D KL TRADERS SQUARE
Phone: +60133695236
Business Hours:
- Monday to Friday – 7 AM to 7 PM
- Saturday – 8 AM to 1 PM
Catterpillar Playtime Playschool warmly welcomed us during our visit. Their school is arranged with soft play areas, sensory corners, and age-appropriate materials that encourage little ones to explore without feeling overwhelmed.
Several parents we chatted along mentioned how quickly their children settled in here, which says a lot about the atmosphere and the way the mentors interact with the kids. The centre also offers programmes that cover early literacy, emotional development, and social skills.
During our tour, we noticed that some of the classes have a limited range of real sensory samples used for lessons. We hope that they could incorporate more actual objects during vocabulary activities.
Even so, most parents spoke highly of the teachers’ attentiveness. They liked how the team communicates openly, especially when sharing updates about their child’s behaviour, milestones, or daily activities.
Children love it here
“So far my child is enjoying school at Caterpillar and she loves her teachers very much. Keep it up! Minor feedback on the attendance. Since there has been several cases in the news where children were unintentionally left in the back seat of their parents can be avoided if schools could reach out to parents who child’s absence is noticeable at school and to check on the reason of their absence. Thank you.”

Very reliable teachers
“Choosing this playschool for my daughter was a great decision. The Montessori approach has led to noticeable improvements since she started at just 10 months old. The teachers take good care of her. She’s learning and playing a lot, and most importantly, can see she’s happy going to school every day. I hope that they continue to uphold the high standards and care that they’ve shown so far.”
