I recently got my first car and am slowly getting the hang of all the maintenance that comes with it– including car washing. I ignored everyone’s advice and went with a white sedan, so as you’d expect, it needs washing quite frequently.
This week, I went around to look for reliable car washes in Johor Bahru and tested them out. I even asked for help from some of my teammates, and this is the list we came up with, just for you!

We can attest that they’re very meticulous with their car washing and that they give expert advice on what kind of cleaning your car needs. They won’t upsell services unless your car really needs them.
We noticed that they even excel with interior cleaning. Their technicians have amazing attention to detail, offering excellent headlamp polishing and coating, as well as rim cleaning and trim shine.

Could see a huge difference after the polish
A high quality polishing centre. Yes, it is pricier than others but it is well worth it. I could see a huge difference after the polish. It is almost like a new car collection! I’ve tried other polishing centers and my white car stains come back just after a few weeks but after the polish at Supwave, it really lasts and that’s where I can understand the differences between the polishing prices. Our favorite is that they offer an air-conditioned waiting area for their patrons with free Wi-Fi and coffee! Moreover, their technicians are skilled, handle cars with utmost care, and have a quick turnaround time.
D’Lux has a wide range of car grooming services, including cleaning, ceramic and glass coating, plastidip, car detailing, and even full restorations. Whether you just want a quick clean or want a complete retouch, there are various packages to choose from.
Plus, the staff is always so friendly and warm. They’re easy to talk to and will answer all your questions about the services you need.
One thing we noted is that you’d have to go here earlier in the day because it gets busy in the afternoon.

I found this place through a Google search and booked their interior deep cleaning and exterior cleaning package. The service was excellent—everything was done perfectly, and the staff were very friendly. Even though I arrived late for my appointment, they were still accommodating and completed the job without any issues. The service and quality of job done was top notch
My car felt gritty and sticky after spray waxing it myself. I brought it to D’lux. The workers worked on it over 4 hours polishing it and restored my cars smooth and shiny surface. We love the technicians’ attention to detail and quick turnaround time. Titan’s Mace has various car wash packages, depending on the condition of your car. We like that their washes include waxing and a protective sealant that will help your car repel dirt.
We also appreciate that they work hard to ensure an efficient and stress-free customer experience. They have an efficient booking process, too – they respond fast, and it’s easy to secure a slot. Plus, they have a spacious and comfortable waiting area!
If we were to be nitpicky, we wish that the differences between the various car detailing packages were clearer on their website. It’s a good thing that their friendly technicians are available to walk you through the package you need based on your preferences.

Wanted to do a proper care for my car, and was debating between a few options, and decided to go with Titan’s Mace. Did not regret it at all. As it was my first time, there were so many packages that made me confused but the friendly staff was patient with me and explained everything in details. We like that they’re transparent and upfront with pricing. They don’t try to upsell services if your car doesn’t need it, and they all seem genuinely passionate about the work that they do. We think that it’s this passion that helped them gain fantastic results!
Aside from admirable customer service, we also noticed that some of their car washes use advanced technology. They can clean cars without touching them, which was cool to see. If you prefer it done the old-school way, they also offer manual touch cleaning.
We also like that, aside from car washes, they also offer other services that make them into a one-stop shop. Some popular add-ons include anti-bug interior mist, headlight correction, and ceramic coating.
We also appreciate that they have car dry cleaning for those living in condos, which is a convenient option, especially since they are not located in a very accessible area.
Hardworking, detail-oriented, and honest
I was eating nearby and figured I’d give AX AutoExpress a shot. Ended up being pleasantly surprised by what they offer, so I decided to try their RM99 monthly car wash package—which includes everything. Honestly, getting a car wash every day for a month at that price is a crazy good deal! The results? Super satisfied. My car looked great, and you can tell they use quality products. Turns out, all their stuff is imported from Germany, which makes sense since the owner is German. Definitely a step above your usual car wash. Big thanks to Miss Suba for breaking down the packages for me—super helpful! The workers here are solid too—hardworking, detail-oriented, and honest, which is refreshing to see. They’ve only been open for three months, but I can already tell they’re going to get really popular. Only small downsides: it’s a bit far from my place, so I probably won’t get to use the package as much as I’d like, and the waiting area is kinda limited. But hey, there’s a really good Indian restaurant next door, so that’s a plus! Overall, if you’re looking for a solid car wash with great service and top-tier products at a good price, this is the spot. Easy 5 stars!
