Although this full-service law firm mainly handles litigation and business law matters, we saw great promise in its divorce service through clients’ word-of-mouth testimonies. We’re in awe of its ability to fast-track matters, finishing even before set expectations.
We also found out that if you hire YLC, you’ll likely be glad you did sooner rather than later. This lovely line on its website at least sums up the experience: “Knowledge has no value unless we use [sic] and share it”, ensuring proper work, not just legal mumbo-jumbo.
Although YLC doesn’t have a long divorce track record compared to other firms, its lawyers definitely have the grit, know-how, and utmost attention for clients.

William, Florence & Partners can tackle both messy and amicable divorces, whether it might just be a simple joint petition or a full-blown child custody battle.
For a JB-local practice, it’s impressive that they can work with clients not just from the same area and other Malay states, but also even from Singapore. It means you’ll be in good hands even if your soon-to-be-ex-spouse is in another country!
A drawback, though, is the Larkin branch’s location. It isn’t exactly downtown Johor Bahru, so you’ll have to factor in the travel time in your schedule.
Good thing they also accommodate calls.

Messrs Ann and Ain’s professional partnership started when they worked at the same firm as newbies.
While Ann’s focus is on commercial and property matters, Ain is the one to talk to about family law (including divorce) and estate issues. As a whole, ANN & AIN can help with unilateral and bilateral divorce, messy or otherwise.
Aside from their legal prowess, most clients laud the firm for its business practices. One we’ve talked to couldn’t help but nod their head in approval of the reasonable, well-detailed invoice received after a consultation.
